Boasting seating over two floors, workstations on the first floor for laptops and a balcony to enjoy alfresco dining, TOAST Colchester has it all. Around every corner you’ll find something new, something thought provoking, and something to inspire you to carpe diem (seize the day!). It’s a branch that welcomes and inspires, calms and connects.
Officially opened on Sunday 10th September to an extremely warm welcome from the people of Colchester, it’s the 5th branch to join our independent chain of coffee houses (yes, we know it’s a contradiction, but it’s true 😁), after 12 months of renovation and 3 years of planning.
TOAST Colchester
It all started with one…
TOAST Colchester is the branch that showcases the culmination of our learning, experience and passion throughout our journey, that all started back in 2020 when we opened TOAST Braintree, our first coffee house…..during a pandemic. 😳
Since then we’ve come a long way, opening branches in Chelmsford, Witham, and Sudbury.
Each TOAST coffee house has a special place in our heart, with each one being slightly different to its sibling, with its own character and vibe. TOAST Colchester oozes calm and contemporary. It’s a place to sip and savour a coffee, meet friends over lunch, or as a work from home location (or we should say WFT, working from TOAST). The first floor is a sanctuary for those working from TOAST with free Wi-Fi, plenty of USB points and coffee on tap- and that’s not mentioning the walls, adorned with quotes and mantras for inspiration and motivation. TOAST Colchester is the branch that has all the options.
Even though TOAST Colchester is our biggest branch (a whopping 3000 square feet of toasty goodness), it’s still the baby of the family. A family of coffee houses that we’re incredibly proud of. 🖤
